Tango Plus Party Review

Singles Tango Plus Party at Golden Gate Yacht Club

Our Tango Plus Party for singles in San Francisco, over all, was very successful. We had a good crowd of people at the party. I was amazed to see a large crowd of singles hugging each other and then dancing tango in a rather close embrace after just a few minutes. Of course, the steps were very simple, but it was a lot of fun.

We changed partners often and someone commented, "The best part was the tango lesson where we changed partners; what a great way to get to know a lot of people quickly."

At about 9:20pm we switched to free style dancing and a mix of rock, swing, salsa and other music, to which most of the crowd just danced free style. It seems that an hour of tango is all that beginners can take of that dance. It is interesting, though, that experienced tango dancers love to dance tango all night.
